US launches fresh air strikes on Iran

The United States forces on Friday targeted Iranian missile and drone storage locations as well as coastal radar sites

A statement by the US Central Command, CENTCOM, said the attack was in response to the Iranian drone strike on a Singapore-flagged cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

“The unwarranted aggression against commercial shipping by Iranian forces clearly violated the ceasefire.

“Furthermore, Iran’s dangerous behavior undermined freedom of navigation as commerce increasingly flows through the vital international trade corridor,” CENTCOM said.

The attack happened shortly after President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that they would find out if America will respond.
