Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen has predicted that his side’s UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona will be a “tough game.”
Osimhen also described the LaLiga giants as currently the best team in the world.
The Nigerian international spoke during a post-match interview after Galatasaray defeated Kasımpaşa 3-1 in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Friday.
“The Barcelona match will be a tough game, but to be honest, like my teammates, I’m also very excited for this match because I know Barcelona is one of the best teams in the world and currently the best team in the world.
“Playing against Barcelona at Rams Park will be magnificent,” Osimhen said, as quoted by HT Spor.
Osimhen has never faced Barcelona while playing for Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.
The last time Galatasaray faced Barcelona was on March 17, 2022, in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 16 tie.
The Turkish Super Lig giants lost 2-1 at home after playing out a goalless draw at Camp Nou in the first leg.
