Como manager, Cesc Fàbregas, has named Barcelona a difficult opponent to play against and defeat in the Champions League.

The former Barcelona midfielder remarked that the LaLiga champions consistently find solutions to the challenges they face on the field.

Barcelona commenced their UEFA Champions League campaign with an impressive 5-1 victory over Feyenoord. They currently lead the LaLiga standings, having accumulated 12 points from four matches.

Fàbregas noted that the exceptional skill of the Blaugrana has surpassed that of all their competitors this season. He commended the LaLiga powerhouse for their ability to maintain their excellence and deliver consistent performances, regardless of the players on the field.

Fàbregas said, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, “Barcelona is frightening! They are scary, man. They always find solutions. Barcelona makes you look bad because they are able to find solutions in every moment. No matter which player steps up, the level remains very high.”

The Blaugrana have convincingly triumphed over all their opponents in the current 2026-27 season, winning all four league matches while scoring 17 goals and conceding just two.

Flick’s team has also demonstrated a remarkable ability to dominate, outscore and defend against their rivals. Fàbregas will lead Como in facing the Blaugrana as one of their opponents in this season’s UCL league phase.

Meanwhile, Fàbregas led debutants Como 1907 to their first victory in the opening game against German side RB Leipzig, beating the Bundesliga club 4-1 with goals from Martin Baturina, A. Douvikas, Assane Diao and Máximo Perrone.
