The Cincinnati Bengals were back on the practice field Saturday for the first time following their preseason opener vs. the Detroit Lions. With joint practice scheduled with the Chicago Bears later in the week prior to their preseason game Saturday, the Bengals were back to work.

B.J. Hill made his training camp debut. Hill started camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list as he was rehabbing his ankle. We saw him on the rehab field last week, and now the team will ease him back into full practice.

Dax Hill is out.

Rookie Tacario Davis was held out of preseason Week 1, but was back in action on Saturday. Bryan Cook did not play Thursday and was still not back on the practice field, while McKinnley Jackson missed practice.

Dax Hill is the big concern, as he’s now been out for over a week following an injury sustained in practice. The team has not yet given a timetable for his return.

D.J. Ivey’s strong camp continues, as he continued to work with the starters in Dax Hill’s absence. Ivey has gotten a lot of work with Tee Higgins and has gotten the best of Higgins a few times in camp. Ivey makes a couple nice plays on the day.

The Bengals continued to work their under center offense, as we’ve seen a lot this training camp. Pressure was an issue on Thursday night and the defense collapsed the pocket again on this rep, forcing Joe Burrow to tuck the ball and take off.

The Bengals offense nearly connected on a deep ball, but DJ Turner got a hand in late to break up the deep shot to Andrei Iosivas.

As the team moved on to red zone drills, the offense was finally able to put it together, winning the first red zone drill with a Tee Higgins touchdown. Looks like Higgins has been practicing his dance moves as well.

Good day for the Bengals offense today. Moved the ball consistently. Big run from Chase Brown. Tee Higgins had some standout plays. An awesome catch over the middle from Tanner Hudson. And Colbie Young had a TD.

It appears the offense was able to find their groove later in practice.

Colbie Young scored as well. The post says Burrow threw the pass, but the video shows it was Joe Flacco and the second-string offense.

Not sure what happened during the play, but Myles Murphy just walked off and then went to a cart and was driven in to the locker room. pic.twitter.com/PjOkJNPMJy

While Myles Murphy left the practice field on the cart, it is important to know he walked off the field under his own power. Luckily, it was reported that Murphy was simply cramping up and went in for an IV.

The Bengals will be back on the practice field Sunday at 10 am.
