Turkey: Onuachu clinches Süper Lig Goal of the Season award

Nigeria striker, Paul Onuachu has been named winner of Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Season, DAILY POST reports.

Onuachu’s spectacular scissor-kick finish in Trabzonspor’s 4-2 home win against Fatih Karagümrük last September received the highest number of votes from fans.

The 32-year-old produced an acrobatic finish from inside the box despite his towering frame.

DAILY POST recall Onuachu won the September Goal of Month award for the same superb strike.

Fenerbahçe midfielder Marco Asensio finished second,while Beşiktaş’ Orkun Kökçü came third.

Onuachu scored 26 goals, provided two assists in 43 appearances across all competitions for the Black Sea Storm.
