Tulsa King Season 5 Casts Manny Montana In Recurring Role

Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King has added an MCU star to its upcoming fifth season.

Created by Sheridan, Paramount+’s Tulsa King follows a New York mobster after he gets released from prison, where he served a 25-year sentence. However, unfortunately for him, things changed while he was incarcerated. This forces him to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to start over and build a new criminal operation.

Now, the hit crime drama is expanding the cast of its newest chapter with another popular TV star. Manny Montana has joined Tulsa King season 5 as a recurring character. The actor, best known for playing Rio in NBC’s Good Girls and John King in Marvel Studios’ Ironheart, will portray Gilberto Torres, a powerful gang member with a giant network in New York City’s criminal underworld.

According to Deadline, Gilberto is someone who is very influential among the criminals in New York. His connections also allow him to know about nearly everything that is happening in the streets of the city, keeping him up to date with his competition. This likely means that he could potentially know about Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi’s arrival, creating more drama in Tulsa King season 5.

The announcement of Montana’s casting comes during a transitional period for Tulsa King. The popular Sheridan series is preparing for a major change of scenery in its fifth season. Although the show has focused on Dwight’s efforts to establish a criminal organization in Oklahoma, the upcoming installment will bring him back to his New York mafia roots. Production officially began in New York on October 5, 2026.

Tulsa King season 4 premiered on Paramount+ on October 16, 2026. Its storyline follows Dwight as he attempts to start and grow his business while protecting his partners from the dangers of the criminal underworld. However, political corruption, deadly rivals, and a major personal loss make everything significantly more complicated. As a result, Dwight must face difficult questions about himself and the consequences of his actions.
