President Donald Trump recently announced that he would be attending Game 3 of the ongoing finals series between the Knicks and the Spurs. The POTUS has been teasing for quite some time that he would like to watch the game and since then, many sports icons have been speaking out their opinions on the matter.
Joe Budden brought up another valid point about the whole President Trump attending the NBA finals, especially in that he might end up being a distraction to none other than the Knicks themselves.
“Coming off the Jaxson Dart debacle, knowing how some players would be feeling about Trump and knowing that you haven8217;t won in 53 years and you haven’t been (in the Finals) in 26-27 years. Trump is such a force that it could be a distraction to your team.” Joe Budden said.

While Budden might feel this way, many others are truly excited for President Donald Trump to be attending the finals this time out, especially James Dolan. The Knicks owner has been more than happy to have none other than the POTUS of all at one of his team games, especially since they made the finals in almost three decades.

The POTUS has actually been taking a genuine interest in sports, including football and basketball, even going on to attend last year’s Super Bowl as one of his first duties as President of the nation.
President Donald Trump’s Finals Attendance Gets Mixed Reactions
President Donald Trump announced that he will be attending the finals at the Garden, which has definitely sparked quite a bit of interest from the crowd. Not all the reactions are positive, with some raising genuinely valid questions.
A percentage of the public is wondering what the crowd at the game will look like and how much more delay there will be, since the POTUS above all will be attending. If the POTUS attends the game, surely the celeb crowd too will be quite high, with this making the security checks a lot more strenuous, leading to an overall delay before the game can even kick off.
At the same time, some are worried that the POTUS might be taking his security a little too lightly by announcing way too far in advance about his future whereabouts. The President already has had a couple of attempts on his life, and some are worried that someone might take a shot at the POTUS during his appearance at the game.
