Real Madrid have identified midfielder Eduardo Camavinga’s possible replacement should the France international decide to leave the club.
Jose Mourinho’s side are preparing for the possibility of losing Camavinga before the summer transfer window closes.
As reported by The Sun, AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone has emerged as a potential replacement if Camavinga leaves Santiago Bernabeu.
Camavinga has already rejected interest from Manchester United and wants to remain at Madrid, but Los Blancos are still monitoring the market.
Meanwhile, in another development, Arsenal have announced the signing of midfielder Axel Donczew.
Donczew, 16, joined Arsenal from English club Cardiff City.
The Gunners disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
“Everyone at Arsenal wishes Axel luck as he begins his Arsenal career,” Arsenal’s statement partly read.
