Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has asked the club to sign Tolu Arokodare from Wolves ahead of next season, Soccernet reports.

With Mauro Icardi set to leave the Turkish champions, the squad will be short on strikers.

As the 33-year-old prepares to leave at the end of his contract, Cimbom will be looking to replace him.

It has now emerged that Osimhen has suggested Arokodare to serve as a backup to him.

The two Super Eagles strikers enjoy a good relationship and have mutual respect for each other.

Arokodare is coming off a disappointing debut campaign at Wolves, contributing just six goals and two assists in 38 appearances, as they suffered relegation from the Premier League.
