One of the biggest hits of this Fall box office season was the latest in a flurry of Colleen Hoover adaptations. Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, Ismael Cruz Cordóva, and Brady Wagner star in Verity, an erotic psychological thriller based on the 2018 novel of the same name. The film reunites Hathaway and director Michael Showalter, who previously worked with her on Prime Video’sThe Idea of You, with a script from Nick Antosca (Hannibal, Cape Fear).
