Transfer: Genk boss confirms Yira Sor’s impending exit

Genk head coach, Jess Thorup has confirmed Yira Sor will leave the club this summer, DAILY POST reports.

Sor has been linked with a move to newly promoted Turkish Super Lig club Amedspor.

The Nigeria international is reportedly in Turkey to undergo medicals, and sign his contract.

Thorup said the tricky winger has not been with the club for the past few days.

“I don’t know if everything has been signed yet, but I can be honest enough to say that Yira hasn’t been at the club for the past two days. He won’t be with us this season,” Thorup told HLN.

Sor joined Genk from Czech First Division club Slavia Prague in January 2023.
