Crystal Palace have already reached agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Lacroix for £52 million, according transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Sky reporter, Florian Plettenberg reports that Nwaiwu is under consideration at the London club along with FC Augsburg defender Chrislain Matsima.
Matsima, is however Crystal Palace’s priority, according to Plettenberg.
FC Augsburg have already rejected a €20 million offer from the Eagles for the 24-year-old centre-back.
Meanwhile, Nwaiwu has already agreed personal terms with Fulham, who have been pushing hard to sign him from Trabzonspor for the past few weeks.
