Transfer: Arsenal suffer Quansah blow as Aston Villa decide on selling Watkins to Al-Hilal

Arsenal have suffered a transfer blow in their pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen defender, Jarell Quansah.

According to German outlet BILD, Bayer Leverkusen have informed Arsenal that Quansah will not be available for any price during this summer’s transfer window.

The Gunners were linked with the 23-year-old England international last week.

Meanwhile, in another development, Aston Villa have rejected Al-Hilal’s £38.5 million offer for their striker, Ollie Watkins.

Al-Hilal submitted the formal bid to the Premier League club on Tuesday.

Watkins is believed to have agreed personal terms with the Saudi Arabian club.
