RB Leipzig attacker Antonio Nusa is a player Tottenham Hotspur are discussing, according to The Times. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club are looking at alternatives as agreeing a fee for Manchester City winger Savinho has proven tricky. The Brazilian is a key target for Spurs as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attacking options. The Lilywhites are now looking elsewhere should a move for Savinho fall through, and Nusa has emerged as a target. The ‘fantastic’ Norwegian international attacker has blown his international teammate Erling Haaland away with his performances.
“He’s fantastic,” the Manchester City striker once said about Nusa.
“So it is important to take care of him and not hype him too much, even though he is a great talent.
“It is important to leave him alone and give him the opportunity to develop.”
The 21-year-old bagged one goal in six appearances at the World Cup after ending last term with four goals and three assists in 31 Bundesliga games. Spurs could do with such a talent, but they are unlikely to be the only ones keeping tabs on him. He is not a top target for Tottenham as they want to try to sign Savinho first before moving on to other options if a deal proves abortive.
