Top three bargains to target in the fifth round of NFL fantasy drafts

Imagine you’re drafting tomorrow in a 12-team PPR league. Who would be the top three bargains to target in the fifth round? The following is based on current average draft positions (ADPs).

There are many reasons to invest in TreVeyon Henderson, including his obvious talent on the ground, his proficiency through the air, and the Patriots’ high-powered and run-friendly offense. Another reason is Rhamondre Stevenson, who — while also talented and terrific through the air — carries far more risks. Stevenson’s longtime fumbling woes and injury history loom. Henderson’s role should only increase. The youngster is a steal at his overall 50 /RB21 ADP.

Jameson Williams also deserves a closer look after finishing as the WR21 in points per game. Why is his ADP stuck at overall-53 / WR26? Who knows. But on five occasions last year, he had three targets or fewer, culminating in only 14 points. He’s too young and capable to be an afterthought for nearly 30% of the season.

Rome Odunze deserves similar accolades. 2024’s overall pick took a big step forward in Year 2 despite facing more competition for targets. With D.J. Moore out of the picture, Odunze is a great bet to build on last year’s 7.5 targets per game, setting him up nicely to outdo his overall-58 / WR29 ADP.
