The Kansas City Chiefs might be without rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane during their Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Delane — who joined Kansas City as the No. 6 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft — is said to be dealing with a shoulder injury and was a non-participant in the Chiefs’ practice session on Thursday, October 29.
It is unclear if Delane will need to miss any time due to his condition, but fans in Kansas City should monitor the first-year standout’s progress throughout the week to see if the Chiefs assign him an official game status designation for the team’s AFC West tilt with Denver.

A former LSU Tigers star, Delane has been among Kansas City’s most impressive defenders this year and is expected to develop into a franchise player for the Chiefs as his NFL career progresses.
Stay tuned to find out if Delane will take the field to face the Broncos in Week 8, or if Kansas City will be without its rookie star on Sunday.
