Hold on to your hats and glasses — the FIFA men&#world-as-manchester-city-fume/">8217;s World Cup is now just one week away, and it promises to be the wildest ride in the history of the event.
Held across three countries (Mexico, Canada and the United States) and four time zones, the event will have a larger logistical footprint than any previous tournament, which undoubtedly contributes to being the 2026/06/02/world-cup-2026-cost-calculator-dollars/">most expensive World Cup ever. It will also have the largest field in tournament history after expanding to a record 48 teams.
