The Week 7 Boudin Bet Slip

· · 4 min read

As a responsible bettor, I have deployed a strategy to follow to stray away from chasing bets. The structure follows the same principles as our favorite variety of sausage that can be defined in 3 different parts – Meat, Rice, and Casing. Please bet responsibly and eat boudin liberally. All lines were provided by the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Week 6 Boudin was 5-5; BYU, UGA, Bama, and Mizzou all impressed me last week.

The meat represents the main plays I feel more confident in, they are the meaty picks of the weekend.

  • BYU +10.5

    • BYU is playing their best football of the year, I think they keep it closer than the experts expect.

  • UGA -19.5

    • I can easily see Georgia winning by 3 scores, they will make things difficult for Auburn’s offensive line.

  • Bama -7.5

    • Bama will bounce back and dominate this game up front, I can’t see Tennessee’s passing offense coming alive here.

Just like Boudin, the rice is the filling that keeps the weekend slate interesting. These are picks I want to love, but have slightly less confidence in.

  • Florida +11.5
    • I can’t see the Gators getting blown out three weeks in a row. I expect a low scoring game in Austin

  • Indiana +3.5

    • Indiana must stop the run enough to keep the game close, but I believe they will have a good enough gameplan defensively to stay within one score.

  • Alabama Defense TD Score +550

    • Bama’s defense has scored in 4 of 6 games they have played, I can see them getting another in Neyland.

  • Mizzou +5.5

    • Mizzou is too good up front on both sides of the ball to get blown out here.

  • Baylor -5.5

    • Turnovers will be the difference here and I think Baylor will cause them.

The snap of the casing is the cherry on top to a good boudin, similar to how a nice parlay is the cherry on top to a beautiful fall Saturday.

  • OU -6.5 & OU vs Kentucky Over 43.5 (+242)
    • OU to win 27-17; they should be able to control the line of scrimmage, but Kentucky will find enough ways to score to go over the total.

A bright and tangy LSU Gold colored mustard is the perfect condiment for any boudin link.

  • Jackson Harris TD +170
    • While I would love to take the over, it’s too hard to predict what the Miss St offense will look like if Kamario is hurt. If I couldn’t take the player prop, I would roll with Under 56.5.
