With Practical Magic 2 now available to stream at home and The Rainmaker having recently returned with a second season, perhaps it’s the perfect time to revisit a Sandra Bullock–John Grisham collab. Bullock starred in a hit Grisham adaptation three decades ago, and the movie in question is currently streaming on Netflix in the United Kingdom, but only for a little while longer. The film was released during a particularly successful streak for Grisham adaptations, which ended not long afterward with a couple of high-profile box-office underperformers.
