good morning everyone – After all the fun we had yesterday doing our European roundup, we’ll be looking at the lower leagues in the English football pyramid today. Much of club competition is on an international break, but the fixtures keep ticking away down here, and your hoddler-in-chief is all for it. Get hyped for Bromley-Wycombe!
League One
The story of League One this season will undeniably be the fate of Leicester City. The club are currently sitting midtable and recently announced an additional £8.5bn worth of debt-to-equity conversations as fans continue to monitor for the latest updates on a potential takeover of the club. There have been no structural changes to the club at this point.
For on-the-pitch drama, we turn to Bradford City who are sitting top. For those who followed League One last year, Bradford were within the target zone for automatic promotion before a late-season slumped kept them in the third division.
