On Sunday night, the Texas baseball team will determine if its next game is played in Austin or Omaha.
To close out the weekend, Texas (44-13) is set to play Oregon (43-17) at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in the second game of a super regional. Since it opened its super regional with Saturday’s 11-3 win over the Ducks, UT will advance to the College World Series with a win. A 38-time College World Series participant, Texas is looking to join an eight-team field in Omaha, Neb., that already includes Georgia, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Troy and West Virginia.
