Tennis Channel analysts debate what Amanda Anisimova drank vs Eala

After dropping the first set, American Amanda Anisimova rallied to defeat Alexandra Eala in three sets at the Cincinnati Open.

In a viral video shared via Twitter/X by @TheTennisLetter, Tennis Channel analysts debated during the third set of the match at Lindner Family Tennis Center what Anisimova was drinking midway through the second set, during a changeover.

“What is that, Lindsay?” Brett Haber said during the broadcast, as Anisimova took a drink.

“Could it be apple cider, Brett?” Lindsay Davenport replied.

“I mean I would never suggest that a player was drinking a beer in the middle of a match but -” Haber said.

“I’ve never seen that,” Davenport added.

“That’s certainly what it looked like,” Haber said. “I mean it could be non-alcoholic? It could be cider? It could be anything. We don’t know.”
