The Tennessee Titans hosted the Seattle Seahawks in a joint practice session this week, but not all fans were welcome.

Mike Macdonald’s Super Bowl-winning Seahawks take on the Titans on Sunday evening in their second of three preseason games.

Seattle will be hoping they can avoid the ‘Super Bowl hangover’ that frequently affects teams in the season after their triumph.

The trip to Tennessee was the first joint practice session the Seahawks have been involved in this summer and it was not exactly a positive one for their head coach or fans.

It was not a practice session that the Seahawks will reflect back on with too much positivity out in the Volunteer State.

Wide receiver Jake Bobo was carted off with a serious knee injury. While tackle Abe Lucas suffered an injury and receiver Tory Horton remained sidelined.

However, one of the big talking points from the session was the claims from beat reporter Brian Nemhauser that Seahawks fans were denied entry if they were wearing their team’s jersey.

There was even the suggestion that Seahawks fans were rounded up and led to an area of the Titans’ facility where they were barely able to see the players in action.

But it is also not a good look for the organization, with the joint practice supposed to be a friendly event – at least off the field – for both sets of fans.

No official statement has been made by either team on the reports, but one fan suggested the Titans had their arms twisted into reversing the ruling eventually.
