The (0-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the (2-0) Minnesota Vikings at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday afternoon for Week 3 of the regular season. One injury to monitor is Rueben Bain Jr., who has been dealing with a minor AC joint sprain in his right shoulder for a while. However, Bain is instead dealing with a calf injury he suffered in Week 2.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers deliver bad news for the 15th pick
Rueben Bain Jr. did not participate during Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s practice, a negative sign regarding his availability. According to Greg Auman of Fox Sports, Bain has been ruled out for the game against the Minnesota Vikings.

As a result, Anthony Nelson, Al-Quadin Muhammad, and David Walker are expected to take on expanded roles alongside star starter Yaya Diaby.
He wasn’t the only rookie ruled out
Josiah Trotter suffered a shoulder injury in Week 2. Trotter missed Wednesday and Thursday’s practices before being upgraded to limited participation. Unfortunately, the second-round pick has also been ruled out. Expect either Christian Rozeboom or SirVocea Dennis to start alongside Alex Anzalone.
