Lineups are out! Vincent Kompany opted to go with this team. Luis Díaz, Jamal Musiala, Manuel Neuer and Joshua Kimmich all start on the bench. It looks like it will be a midfield pivot consisting of Aleksandar Pavlović and Tom Bischof. Nathaniel Brown and Lennart Karl start this one.

Bayern Munich won one and drew one in the opening two Bundesliga matches of the 2026/27 season. Although they were held to a 0-0 draw with Schalke, the Bavarians bounced back against Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League with a 5-0 routing of the Norwegian side.

Elversberg may be a first-timer in Germany’s top division, but don’t let their status fool you. Two wins and seven goals and being able to say they were once above Bayern in the standings to start the season is nothing to scoff at. On the other hand, Bayern wants to get back to winning ways as far as the Bundesliga is concerned.
