Stockton Ports to bring new postgame show on Friday

The Stockton Ports will bring a new postgame show to Banner Island Ballpark on Friday.

The new show will follow the Stockton Ports against the Lake Elsinore Storm game on Friday, July 31. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. with the first pitch, at 404 W. Fremont St. in downtown Stockton. The drone show presented by Magical Light Show will be 10 minutes long.

“Taking the place of traditional fireworks, hundreds of synchronized drones will illuminate the night sky with stunning animations, creating a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience for fans of all ages,” a Stockton Ports news release states.

Friday’s game will also feature a Health & Wellness Night, a Mentor Night presented by Mentor California, and a Backpack Giveaway presented by the San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Stockton Ports backpack.

Tickets start at $15 (including fees) on the MLB website for Friday’s game. Tickets can also be purchased at the Stockton Ports Ticket Office by calling (209) 644-1900.
