LeBron James‘ upcoming free agency decision continues to be a hot topic in NBA circles. The Golden State Warriors are reportedly one of the frontrunners to sign him, giving him a chance to play alongside Stephen Curry.
A reporter asked the superstar guard on Thursday what the superstar guard’s pitch was to James. Curry emphasized to the 22-time All-Star that he will be surrounded by high IQ basketball players. He also highlighted the Bay Area’s gold scene.
“Do you want to play good basketball and be around people who know how to play the game?” Curry said. “Raise our floor, competitiveness. There’s good golf in the Bay.”
Curry and James have love been rumored to potentially joining forces. They made a lot of noise in the Olympics by showing a lot of chemistry and leading Team USA to a gold medal in Paris.

Curry played only 43 games last season. He missed extended time because of a knee injury, and Golden State finished with a 37-45 record. The team reached the NBA Play-In Tournament but failed to qualify for the playoffs.
The two-time MVP averaged 26.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 4.4 3PM. He is already 38 years old, but like James, he is still playing at an elite level. Their potential partnership will alter the league’s landscape and could lead to them winning their fifth ring.
