Stefon Diggs scores a touchdown in win over Eagles

Washington Commanders WR Stefon Diggs caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was targeted six times in the win.

Why It Matters: While it’s only one week, it doesn’t appear that the loss of Terry McLaurin (knee) is going to push Diggs into a true WR1 role. Jayden Daniels ended up targeting Antonio Williams seven times while Diggs got six and Treylon Burks had five targets. Each player had his role. Burks got the deep shots, Williams worked short and intermediate routes, and Diggs was heavily involved in the red zone. You could inch Diggs’ value up a bit if you’d like, but he’s still dwelling in that midrange (or lower) WR3 zone.
