The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted veteran safety Rayshawn Jenkins for a workout today, per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive. Jenkins spent the 2025 season with the Cleveland Browns, intercepting one pass and registering 45 tackles across 17 games played.

Jenkins was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Miami by the Los Angeles Chargers, intercepting five passes in his first three seasons. He has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks.

The Steelers are thin at the safety position. Jalen Ramsey is currently injured and expected to float from safety to nickel, and the only other names behind DeShon Elliott and Jaquan Brisker are Darnell Savage, Sebastian Castro, and Robert Spears-Jennings. The Steelers went the veteran route a season ago, signing Chuck Clark in the midst of training camp.
