Steelers' AFC North rival trade details for veteran QB officially revealed
An AFC North rival of the Pittsburgh Steelers has officially completed a trade that brings in a veteran quarterback to help solve their injury woes at the position.
On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens traded a 2027 fourth-round draft pick and a 2028 seventh-round draft pick to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for 33-year-old veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick, in hopes of not being left behind by the Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North race.
Ravens-Cardinals trade for Jacoby Brissett is now official.

The Ravens practically had no choice but to pursue a quarterback trade target, as starting quarterback Lamar Jackson (thumb) and backup Tyler Huntley (toe) found themselves on injured reserve with their respective health setbacks.
Brissett, who has thrown for 16,485 yards and 86 touchdowns in 109 career games, brings some veteran solidarity to the quarterback position for a Baltimore team sitting at 4-5. Although the Steelers, Bengals, and Browns have much better odds at finishing atop the AFC North division, the Ravens’ latest acquisition of Brissett shows that they’re not quite ready to throw in the towel this season.
