Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham has stopped recording episodes of her podcast, ‘Show Me Something,’ despite her popularity being at an all-time high.
Cunningham has always been a popular WNBA player, but her fame has now reached a level where it is only rivalled by Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
Cunningham’s podcast with co-host, actor West Wilson, has seemingly been on an unannounced hiatus since July 21, with a multitude of reasons for this.

After Cunningham’s views on separating trans athletes from women’s sports went supersonic after an ESPN profile in July, her podcast co-host West Wilson issued a strong disagreement on TikTok.
“Okay, transgender athletes in American sports is such a borderline nonexistent issue that right-wingers have convinced a massive portion of people in our country that it— that these people are like a threat to sports in America when mathematically that’s not the case at all.”
“And by continuing to platform this, ——- politicians, athletes, journalists, news outlets, you’re only isolating transgender people even more by making them seem like this giant group of people is a threat to society, a threat to sports, when that’s just not proportionately the truth in any capacity.”
With Wilson’s comments being so strongly worded, some have assumed that their podcast is on hiatus because of their big difference in opinion over this matter.
The podcast is produced and distributed by The Volume, and episodes over the last month would have naturally had great viewership if the hosts could have a live conversation.
Sophie Cunningham’s co-host West Wilson suffered a professional hiccup
Wilson has been a reality TV star in addition to being a podcast host and sports reporter at Complex.
The star was recently fired from his role on Bravo’s Summer House due to a reported romantic entanglement with his ex-girlfriend’s best friend on the show.
The show is Emmy-nominated, but Wilson isn’t expected to continue on as a featured cast member, likely focusing on his career in sports media with Complex.
Him discussing this while having an on-air disagreement with Cunningham on the podcast would be gold to watch, but it’s clear the high school best friends need more time before addressing the future of their fairly popular show.
