West Ham have confirmed the signing of Manor Solomon from Tottenham for a reported £5m, including £2m in add-ons, ahead of their first campaign in the Championship since 2011-12.
Solomon has signed a three-year contract with West Ham, ending his three-season stay at Tottenham where he only made six first-team appearances in all competitions.
The 28-year-old joined Tottenham in 2023 after spending the previous season on loan in the Premier League with Fulham.
However, he failed to nail down a regular spot in Tottenham’s starting line-up, enjoying loan spells with Leeds United, Villarreal, and most recently, Fiorentina.
Solomon appeared 19 times in all competitions during the second half of the 2025-26 campaign in Italy, scoring two goals as well as providing two assists.
He featured under Roberto De Zerbi during Tottenham’s pre-season this summer, but he has been allowed to leave the club and make the short switch across London.
“I’m really happy to be here, happy to be a Hammer, and I can’t wait to get started,” Solomon told the West Ham website.
“I know West Ham has a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe. It’s a club that won a European trophy just three years ago.
“Of course, our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League. I really like all the ideas and everything that has been presented to me.
“I’ll try to give my all in the first season and then in the seasons ahead. I want to be here for a long time and I want to make the fans really happy.”

Solomon follows Venezuela midfielder Keiber Lamadrid and former Netherlands defender Joel Veltman in joining West Ham this summer.
West Ham have already sold Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal and Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham, while Freddie Potts and Callum Wilson are their other notable exits.
The Hammers began their domestic campaign last Saturday in the EFL Cup, coming from a goal down to beat Portsmouth 3-1 and progress to the second round.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side begin their league season this Sunday, with a trip to Burnley, who were also relegated from the Premier League last season, their first match.
West Ham have won on three of their last four league visits to Burnley (D1), including a 2-0 victory in the Premier League last season, one of only four away victories.
