Sixers' Jaylen Brown discusses workout with LeBron James, Tyrese Maxey

The Philadelphia 76ers have had an eventful offseason when considering the additions that President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey and Co. were able to make in the summer. The Sixers added legitimate star power in the form of Jaylen Brown and LeBron James as they position themselves to take aim at the Larry O’Brien trophy.

The Sixers will need everybody to get on the same page in terms of chemistry and making sure everyone knows their role. Therefore, Brown and James got in the gym with new teammate Tyrese Maxey as the star trio is now working toward making sure they figure each other out on the floor. It’s important to get as many reps in as possible before things get going in October.

Brown hopped on his Twitch stream on Sunday and discussed the workout he had with his new teammates:

Got work in. Building chemistry with the guys. Maxey is a dog. LeBron is the (expletive), you don’t even need to say what LeBron is, he looks good. Healthy. It’s gonna be that. So, we’re working, man. We worked out a few times. So, that’s good to get in the gym with your teammates and get a feel for one another. You can feel the energy level is high. The talent is high, and like, we just gotta come with the right approach.

Brown, James, and Maxey will, of course, also need to figure it out with Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe as well. The Sixers will lean on Brown and James to give Philadelphia the experience and championship know-how that this roster is missing, but this team will still rely on Maxey and Embiid a ton as they are the leaders of this team. These reps in the gym will help everybody out in the long run.
