Friday night was a huge moment for Ben Shelton as he beat Frances Tiafoe in an all-American clash to advance to the US Open final.

Trinity Rodman was present once again, she has been like a good luck charm for her boyfriend during his historic run. However, she is likely to not be at the big event on Sunday.

As a soccer star for the NWSL’s Washington Spirit, Rodman is slated to play against the Boston Legacy on Sunday afternoon. But fans online have a plan.

Rodman is a professional athlete in her own right, and the Spirit are in the race to finish atop the NWSL table. So far, she has juggled her commitments with her support perfectly.

However, with a game coming up at the same time as the final, fans are thinking about how the 24-year-old can be at the tournament instead.

“Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, has a Washington Spirit game Sunday at 1 pm in Boston. She could probably get to the US Open final – which starts at 4 pm – by 5 pm in time for 2nd set,” a fan suggested.

There are some suggestions which could possibly work in there. One thing is true, a Shelton win in the final, while legendary, wouldn’t be the same without Rodman in the stands.
