Lorenzo Lucca and Sam Beukema are set to start for Napoli as Davide Nicola takes charge of Venezia for the first time.
It kicks off at 15:00 CET [14:00 BST] at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo in Venice.
Venezia are bottom of Serie A and the only side without a point after six straight defeats. Monday’s 3-1 loss at Atalanta cost Giovanni Stroppa his job. Massimiliano Allegri’s Napoli beat Frosinone in their last league game, but arrive after a 3-1 Champions League defeat at Villarreal on Tuesday. That left them with four losses from their first eight competitive matches, their worst start in 17 years.

Napoli team news
Napoli are without Alessandro Buongiorno, Costantino Favasuli and Antonio Vergara, while David Neres misses out with a muscle problem. Frank Anguissa, Mathías Olivera and Alisson Santos are back in training but expected to start on the bench, and Kevin De Bruyne is set to be rested.
According to Sky, Allegri will start Lucca ahead of Rasmus Hojlund. Beukema is in line for his season debut ahead of Luca Marianucci, and Benoît Badiashile is favoured over Rafa Marín. Corriere dello Sport expects Billy Gilmour and Stanislav Lobotka to form a double pivot, with Scott McTominay and Giovane behind Lucca.
Tuttosport, however, has McTominay in midfield alongside Lobotka, with Matteo Politano and Noa Lang supporting Lucca.
Nicola is expected to stick with a 3-5-2 and the strike partnership of John Yeboah and Akor Adams. Gianluca Busio is still out, while Armel Bella-Kotchap’s fitness will be assessed.
