See updated Gadsden-area Week 6 games on the Alabama high school football schedule

The schedule for Week 6 of the AHSAA football season is being adjusted in the Gadsden area.

Geraldine and Plainview was moved due to excitement of the game, as teams are ranked a top the Class 3A rankings. The game will now kickoff on Thursday, joined by Fyffe-Ider, which was moved due to the referee shortage.

According to the Weather Channel, there is a 36% chance of rain on Friday, with that rising to 60% overnight. Due to that chance, some games around the state are being moved to avoid the weather.

Albertville and Mae Jemison was moved to Thursday and got a location change. The Aggies will now play at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville.
