Seahawks Week 4 injury report: Julian Love returns, Ty Okada remains out

· · 1 min read

The first Seattle Seahawks practice report of Week 4. The biggest name on the list is star safety Julian Love, who was limited in practice on Wednesday. This is welcome news as Love, who injured his calf in last week’s practice, missed Week 3 against the Washington Commanders. It is still unclear whether Love will be cleared to play in week four against the Los Angeles Chargers. That being said, a limited participation is still good news.

As for the other players, there was only one player who was unable to participate. Unfortunately that was Seattle’s other starting safety, Ty Okada, who has not practiced at all since the start of the regular season due to a hamstring injury.

Running backs George Holani (rib), and Jadarian Price (chest) were also limited in practice today, as was left guard Grey Zabel (groin) and defensive tackle Jarran Reed (foot). It is still to be seen whether any of those injuries will linger later into the week.

Defensive tackle Leonard Williams was a limited participant, however that appears to be simply for rest. Others who were full participants were safety Nick Emmanwori, defensive tackle Brandon Pili, and wide receiver Rashid Shaheed. This is all good news as Emmanwori is still slowly coming back from his ankle surgery this offseason, and with Pili returning from a neck injury that kept him out of week three against the Commanders.

Not listed on the injury report is Zach Charbonnet. Since he is still on the PUP list (and his 21-day practice window has not been opened), Seattle does not need to list Charbonnet. That being said, when asked about his status, head coach Mike Macdonald stated that “there is a chance” that he can practice on Thursday.
