Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley will not be moved before the NFL trade deadline Tuesday, Nov. 10, according to multiple sources. Entering play Sunday, Nov. 1, the Eagles have lost five consecutive games and may look to move other players on their roster as they fall further out of contention for a playoff spot.
Why It Matters: The 29-year-old Barkley has two years and slightly more than $35 million remaining on his current contract. He has been plagued by hamstring and back issues this season which have caused him to miss two games but he is expected to suit up in Week 8 versus the Washington Commanders on Sunday night. Despite the injuries and the team’s recent poor performance, Barkley should still be considered a starting option in all fantasy leagues.
