In this week’s reacts poll, we asked readers did they think that Cam Jordan would re-sign with the team?
An overwhelming 89% of voters said that they believed Cam Jordan would be back in New Orleans.
As Jordan enters his 16th season with the Saints, he becomes the longest-tenured player in franchise history. The Saints all-time sack leader finished the 2025 season with 10.5 sacks. His 132 career sacks rank him 17th all‑time, the most by an active player.
The Saints 2011 first-round pick (24th overall) currently has an impressive career resume which includes 132 total sacks, 17 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries, 3 interceptions with one returned for a touchdown and 67 pass breakups through 243 regular season games, with 242 starts (both of which are franchise records)
With this being Jordan’s final year, he certainly wants to walk away on a really high note but also, his one-year contract which is worth a base of $7.5 million and includes additional incentives that could be worth up 3.5 million. Also, if he gets 6 more sacks this season, that will move him up into the top 10 of NFL career sack leaders.
All of this only gives Cam Jordan more motivation to have another great season and cementing himself into the NFL Hall of Fame after 2032.
