The Atlanta Braves even had a position player, Jorge Mateo, on the mound as the Pirates were up big. 

O’Hearn had to settle for a hard-hit single.

The Pirates then pinch-ran for O’Hearn to get him a standing ovation as he came off the field.

Still, it was a historic, epic night for O’Hearn.

They acquired him in the offseason to add some power to the lineup, and he very much has.
