The Executive Governor of Ogun State, speaking through the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, commended District 9111 for its substantial humanitarian footprint and its strategic choice to anchor the facility within a state institution.

She noted that the new infrastructure will serve as a vital regional anchor for mediation and community development.

Acknowledging the long-term vision of the centre, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) of OOU, Prof. Olatundun Abosede, expressed deep institutional gratitude to the Rotarians.

She described the facility as a high-yield investment in societal preservation that will elevate OOU’s status as a centre of excellence for peacebuilding across the West African sub-region.

The operationalisation of the building marks the fulfilment of a capital project commitment initiated less than a year ago following its initial groundbreaking in September 2025, building upon foundational certificate course models pioneered by the immediate past District Governor, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi.
