Ronaldo set for Portugal return after Jorge Jesus includes player in squad

Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in Portugal’s latest squad despite his clash with head coach Jorge Jesus.

This means he will be eligible for the games against Denmark on November 14 and Wales on November 17.

The final squad will be announced on November 6.

The Portuguese Football Federation had suspended Ronaldo for 30 days and fined him €255 for leaving the team’s camp in Denmark during the September international break.

Ronaldo was furious after Jesus left him on the bench for the entire 90 minutes of a Nations League clash.

The 41-year-old has since issued an apology for his behaviour.
