Chelsea have a lot of players they’d like to sell this summer, but so far movement has been pretty limited. That could all change in the next few weeks.
One player who is set to leave is Trevoh Chalobah. The club have actually been open to selling the academy produced centre back for years, but never had the offers they wanted.
Now it looks like that might change, after another solid Premier League season from the defender.
Chalobah agents in Milan for personal terms talks
Insiders like Fabrizio Romano have been connecting Chalobah with a Serie A move all summer, and today we’ve got a concrete update from him that things are progressing.
He says that Como have been “in the race for weeks” but “Inter are on it as well.”
“Chalobah wants to play in Italy,” Romano confirmed to conclude the message.
Things have reached the stage where Chalobah’s agents have actually flown to Milan for talks with Inter over his personal terms.
Once that’s agreed, Chelsea can negotiate the transfer fee. Given there are two sides interested, they should be able to finally get a number they consider suitable.
In other news…
Manchester City have just completed their summer mega midfielder deal, with Elliot Anderson joining for an insane £116m fee.
Enzo Fernandez’s potential move to Real Madrid is in doubt after Chelsea’s massive asking price for him was named.
