Roma targeting Sporting fullback Ivan Fresneda

Roma continues to work on the transfer market with the goal of strengthening the right flank ahead of the new season.

Among the names still under consideration by the Giallorossi management is Iván Fresneda, a young defensive winger owned by Sporting.

According to journalist Eleonora Trotta, the Roman club’s interest in the 2004-born player is concrete and has been confirmed in the last few hours.

The Spanish full-back is one of the players being evaluated to complete Gian Piero Gasperini’s wing-back lineup.

Sporting CP are asking for a fee between €15 and €18 million to release their defender. The Portuguese club is currently not considering the player on the market and would prefer to keep him next season.
