Roma prepares €25 million move for Inter winger Luis Henrique

Roma is preparing an approach worth €25 million for Inter winger Luis Henrique, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter reportedly values the Brazilian closer to €30 million, leaving a gap of approximately €5 million between Roma’s planned proposal and the amount required to begin serious negotiations.

Roma has not submitted the offer yet. The club’s interest is one of the more intriguing developments in the latest transfer news, but it should still be considered a transfer rumor until Roma approaches Inter formally.

Luis Henrique only joined Inter from Marseille in June 2025. The Nerazzurri paid an initial fee of approximately €23 million, with further bonuses potentially taking the package to €25 million.

The 24-year-old signed a contract running until June 2030, placing Inter in a strong negotiating position. A €25 million sale would allow the club to recover most or all of its original investment, but Inter is seeking a profit before considering his departure.

Luis Henrique arrived in Italy following his most productive season with Marseille. He scored nine times during the 2024/25 campaign and showed that he could operate as a winger or wing-back on either side of the field.

His first season at Inter produced mixed results, although there were several useful performances. Henrique assisted Lautaro Martinez during Inter’s 4-0 victory over Como and later scored in a 5-0 win against Sassuolo.

The Brazilian’s ability to carry the ball and attack from wide positions would give Roma an option with experience in both Serie A and Ligue 1. His versatility could also allow the club to use him as a traditional winger or in a system requiring the wide players to cover the entire flank.

Roma has already made several decisions concerning its attack. The club turned Donyell Malen’s loan into a permanent transfer after the Netherlands international scored 15 goals in 20 appearances.

Paulo Dybala also signed a new contract, but Roma continues to look for wide players who can create chances and provide greater tactical flexibility.

Inter’s €30 million valuation means Roma may need to improve its planned offer or include achievable bonuses. The initial approach should establish whether the Nerazzurri is genuinely prepared to sell a player who still has four years remaining on his contract.

Status: Roma is preparing a €25 million approach for Luis Henrique, while Inter values the winger at approximately €30 million. No formal bid, club agreement or personal-terms agreement has been reported.
