Roma hold talks with Chelsea for Garnacho-Moreira deal

Roma‘s hottest incoming players are Alejandro Garnacho and Diego Moreira.

The former is on his way out of Chelsea, who are currently asking for €50 million, while the latter is owned by Strasbourg, and their asking price is also €50 million.

Negotiations are inevitably complex for the Giallorossi, but the demands could decrease over time.

Garnacho and Moreira are linked by a common thread, not only because Chelsea has a buyback clause for the Belgian full-back, but also because the English club and Strasbourg are owned by the same owner.

Both clubs are part of the US consortium BlueCo, led by entrepreneur Todd Boehly. Strasbourg is, in effect, the Blues’ satellite club, where young talents arrive to be developed.

Because of this direct link, Roma could initiate a major deal with Chelsea for these two transfer targets.

As reported by Alfredo Pedullà on his YouTube channel, the timeshare factor could facilitate the double deal. The scenario is that of a transfer package in which Roma and Chelsea can meet in mutual agreement.
