Rodri speaks out on his Barcelona goals

Incoming Barcelona signing Rodri on Monday spoke for the first time regarding his ambitions for his stint in the colours of the Blaugrana.

This comes after the midfielder touched down in the city which he is set to call home for the foreseeable future.

After weeks of negotiations, Barcelona finally reached a definitive agreement with their Manchester City counterparts over a deal for Rodri on Sunday night. The reigning Spanish champions, it is understood, are ready to fork over a fee with the potential to rise to €76 million to land the former Ballon d’Or winner.

Given permission to travel by the Man City brass on Monday, Rodri, in turn, flew out to Catalunya’s capital.

And as alluded to above, following his arrival, the 30-year-old wasted little time in announcing one goal which he has already set for his time at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Faced by the media at the airport, Rodri confirmed:

“It’s a dream to be here! We will go for the Champions League and for everything!”
