Report suspicious movement, activities in your communities – Oyo CP tells residents

Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Olugbenga Abimbola, has advised residents of the state to report suspicious movements in their communities. 

Abimbola gave the advice when he led his officers and journalists to the house where the kidnappers used as a hideout for the abduction of the sister of the immediate past Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu and her twins.

DAILY POST reports that the victims, abducted a few days ago, were rescued on Saturday. 

The house where they were rescued from is reportedly located at Lakon Estate, Ayegun Olojuoro Road in Ibadan and within the Oluyole local government area. 

“You have seen it all. They will kidnap people in town, and they will drive them to the house. You can see that this house is located within a premises.

“People have been coming here without saying anything. Hopefully, what is there is that if you see something, say something. 

“If they had done that, maybe for a while, we would have arrested them. 

“They should report to the security agencies”.
