Milan winger Rafael Leao continues his pre-season preparations away from Italy amid growing speculation surrounding his future. According to Pianeta Milan, the Portuguese star is currently ‘enjoying’ holidays in Brazil.
Leao featured for Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has yet to return to Europe. After the 2016 Euro winners exited the tournament in the round of 16, he went on vacation to Brazil and is currently training at Corinthians’ home ground in São Paulo.
The same report says the 27-year-old is looking to stay in top shape before joining Ruben Amorim’s summer squad. Milan will jet off to Perth next week for a pre-season tour in Australia, with Leao expected to join the team in the coming days. Meanwhile, his future remains one of the major talking points on the Apennines.
His departure looked like a virtual certainty at the end of last season. However, there’s now a chance he could stay at San Siro.

Despite an underwhelming 2025/26 campaign, Leao has generated plenty of interest across the continent. Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have recently joined the race to sign the former Lille forward, with the latter ready to table an eye-watering €50 million offer.
Furthermore, the Yellow Canaries have reportedly prepared a significant €12m contract proposal to convince Leao to move to Istanbul. Yet, the player is not enthusiastic about leaving Milan for the Turkish Super Lig. Instead, he would rather continue his career in the Premier League.
