Real Madrid star brought to tears after scoring first goal for the club vs Villarreal

Real Madrid star Yan Diomandé could not help but allow his emotions to get the better of him on Saturday night, against Villarreal. This came after the Ivorian found the net in Blancos colours for the very first time.

José Mourinho’s troops are currently locked in action, in their post-international break return to the pitch.

The aforementioned Yan Diomandé was afforded a starting berth for the evening, favoured to the more high-profile Vinícius Jr. on the hosts’ left flank.

And as alluded to above, just beyond the hour mark, the young attacker enjoyed a moment which will live long in the memory…

Slipped into the Villarreal penalty area with the score deadlocked at 0-0, Diomandé did superbly to swivel and pick out the far corner with a pinpoint strike.

After seeing his goal awarded following a VAR check, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital was then spotted in tears whilst celebrating his very first goal for world football’s biggest club:
